I really love animals, especially cats, but recently I began to like insects. This illustration shows the encounter between the two species. The cat's expression represents how I first felt towards insects. Now, I am taking care of a colony of worms that turn into beetles. The structures and life cycles of insects are very beautiful to watch, yet terrifying. The beetle that the cat watches while sweating struggles to get up, while the other two leave it behind. Nature is very brutal and through my experience with observing these beetles interact, it can get very gruesome.
